First of all, you have to define success for yourself. Where do you want success? What aspect of your life? Once you have a goal in mind, then apply the success habits that will take you to your success.

This will be a series as there are many success habits that can be applied. You see we already have habits and many of them are not really good habits. The way it works is that the bad habit needs to be replaced by a good habit.

So, let’s address definiteness of purpose as a success habit. There are different ways of saying this. One version is Definite Major Purpose. That is the one I use.

For everything you do in life, you need a purpose. No matter if it is personal or business related, this is the first step in your quest for achievement and success.

We all need direction. Having a Definite Major Purpose gives you direction. Sometimes I use the taxi analogy. If you get into a taxi and you can not tell the taxi driver where you are going, the driver can not take you there.

The same with the universal energies. How can the unseen forces support you if you don’t know where you are going.

What it looks like:

Your Definite Major Purpose must have all the details to bring it to life along with positive emotions. Everything must be worded in a positive language and in the present tense. It must be so clear that if a stranger picked it up, they would get the same picture in their mind.

Your Definite Major Purpose must be specific and contain SMART goals including dates for achievement. It must be aligned with your passions.

Building a burning desire around your Definite Major Purpose is important too. But you also need to detach from the outcome and be in the present moment. This takes some practice.

Another aspect is what are you willing to give up in order to obtain your Definite Major Purpose. And are you willing to keep the promise for its completion. Many factors go into a DMP and if you include all of them, you will be successful in your definiteness of purpose.

One program I have been involved with that assists in creating structure and eliciting new habits is The Master Key Experience. After developing my Definite Major Purpose (DMP) and being supported through the Master Key process, I have been successful obtaining several of my current goals.

So, it really comes down to replacing old habits that aren’t working with new ones that are going to take you where you want to go. The Master Key Experience has all the pieces in place to support your Definite Major Purpose (DMP).

If you can manage to turn creating a Definite Major Purpose into a regular habit, you are more likely to achieve the success you are looking for. What do you wish to accomplish? What is your goal or dream?

If you need help with this, be sure to reach out.

To your success.
